Day 3 - Dreadful weather
Annual monsoon rain hits Taiwan in the summer. I sorrowfully cannot narrate and depict much of our third-day itinerary due to the dreadful weather we encountered. We have nonetheless managed to take several snapshots with our DSLR camera in the indoor areas (not so many at outdoor) something that might be intriguing.

(Taiwan Railways) The train departs from Taipei Station. |
Ruifang Railway Station |
The subway to main streets at Rueifang Station. The station also exhibits a number of
artistic photographs to the public - wittingly decorate the subway in an aesthetic way. |
Streets in Rueifang. It is photographed while queuing for the bus. |
Key ring. Each Chinese surname is engraved on a Japanese-alike mini slipper as a souvenir. (Why is it designed in a Japanese style?) |
Wooden postcards with Chinese encouraging blessings / supports. We purchased them from the shop that also key rings (illustrated above) |
Rural village in Jiufen |
A little Chinese confectionery / bakery shop located in Jiufen named "Lee Yi Cake Shop". The bakery conventionally produces scrumptious pastry. If you are interested in knowing more, please visit here (Traditional Chinese only): http://www.lecake.com.tw/ |
A pitiful cat idles around down the pedestrian area. |
At last, we proceeded to the railway station and left the place with weather disappointment. |
To be continued....
